General terms and conditions when purchasing from Privab AB

Order placement

Orders are placed via our webshop, www.privab.se. Orders must be placed on day 1 for delivery on day 3. Deliveries are made according to the delivery schedule.
Please note that customer specific arrangements may apply.

Payment terms

Payment by invoice: 10 days credit
Automatic bank giro: 10 days from invoice date
Late payment interest: 18% per year from the due date

Please note that the customer is responsible for deducting any credit notes when paying invoices.

Invoicing terms

Invoices are sent by email.

Claims

Any claims must be reported immediately, no later than five (5) working days from delivery. Claims submitted after this will not be accepted. All claims must be documented with photos.

Please note: fresh and frozen goods must be claimed on the day of delivery. An invoice must be presented when submitting a claim.

You can claim in case of:

  • Incorrect delivery
  • Broken goods
  • Missing items
  • Quality issues

Returns

If you wish to make a return, you must always contact your responsible sales representative to receive a return note before sending goods back. Goods that are damaged, opened, price marked, or otherwise unsuitable due to improper handling cannot be accepted.

Do not write “Return” or similar directly on goods to be returned. Drivers are not allowed to take back goods without a valid return note.

Force Majeure

Privab shall be exempt from liability for failure to fulfil any obligation under the agreement between the parties if such failure is due to circumstances beyond the party’s reasonable control, including but not limited to labour disputes, fire, war, government decisions, pandemics, major operational disruptions, supplier issues, natural disasters, or other similar events that could not reasonably have been foreseen or avoided (force majeure). The affected party shall notify the other party without undue delay if a force majeure event occurs. Obligations shall resume as soon as the impediment has ceased.

Personal data

Privab processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation (GDPR). Personal data provided in connection with the business relationship is used to administer customer relations, fulfil agreements, and comply with legal obligations. Applicable law and disputes

Swedish law shall apply to these terms and any specific agreements. Any dispute arising from these terms shall primarily be resolved through dialogue between the parties.
